Reverend Bishop Pavlo visited the Honorary Consulate

On September 5, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Khmelnytsky was paid a friendly visit by His Grace Vladyka Pavlo, Bishop of Khmelnytsky and Kamyanets-Podilsky.

He congratulated Honorary Consul Mykola Skrypkovskyy and consular staff on the outstanding event in the diplomatic institution’s life – the anniversary of its opening. Vladyka Pavlo wished all peace, God’s blessing, development and prosperity, stressed the importance of the Honorary Consulate’s mission: to help all in need, strengthen and deepen cultural, spiritual and economic ties both between peoples and between states.

Mykola Skrypkovskyy expressed his gratitude to Vladyka Pavlo and assured that the consulate will continue to work for the benefit of all citizens.

On behalf of Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Blessed Epiphany Bishop of Khmelnytsky and Kamyanets-Podilsky Vladyka Pavlo presented Mr. Consul with the award in honor of merit on the occasion of the visit of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine.

“I thank Metropolitan Epiphany and you, Vladyka Pavlo, for this  award. It is a great honor for me. Grateful for your trust and unconditional support,” Skrypkovskyy stressed.

Using the opportunity to mark good friendly relations and effective cooperation, Honorary Consul Mykola Skrypkovskyy presented Bishop of Khmelnytsky and Kamyanets-Podilsky Vladyka Pavlo with Golden Lion Order and Commemorative Medal for the anniversary of Consulate opening.

The Consul wished him good health, inexhaustible spiritual strength, and peace in his heart and on earth, and voiced his hope for the support of good relations, inviting him again to visit the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Khmelnytsky.

Vladyka Pavlo thanked for the hospitality and assured that he continues to be a friend and advisor, and expressed his expectation for the next meeting to take place without war under a peaceful Ukrainian sky.
