On February 20, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Vinnytsia Damian Ciarcinski made an official visit to the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Khmelnytsky where he met with Honorary Consul Mykola Skrypkovskyi.
Since the meeting fell on the anniversary of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, the tragic days of mass shootings of protesters during the Revolution of Dignity were the main topic of discussion.
“It is through the bravery and selflessness, strength of spirit and resilience of citizens that the history of Ukraine has changed its course. Eternal memory and glory to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. I am sure that they will always remain the defenders of heaven in Ukraine”, – Damian Ciarcinski remarked.
During the conversation, the interlocutors paid special attention to the prospects and directions of work of the consulates in Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsia. Also the questions of deepening the links between the consulates and the countries they represent in general were raised. The sides spoke about joining efforts to promote the attraction of Polish investments to Ukraine and development of foreign business. The parties agreed to exchange information and ideas on investment opportunities.
The Consuls did not miss the tourist potential of Moldova. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Mykola Skrypkovskyi invited Damian Ciarcinski to visit Moldova in the near future and get acquainted with its unique cuisine and wine-making traditions. In turn, the Consul General invited Mr. Skrypkovskyi to pay a visit to Vinnytsia and the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland headed by him.
The meeting was held in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, informative and productive, and in the near future the agreements reached will be implemented into the work of the consulates.
