On the Fourth of July, Americans celebrate the biggest national holiday – Independence Day.
On July 4, 1776, thirteen states on the east coast of America declared independence from the British Empire and ceased to be its colonies. The Declaration of Independence was unanimously supported by thirteen states at the Congress in Philadelphia.
This is a day off, on which the history of the country and its modern achievements are remembered.
The United States of America is one of the main and strategic allies of Ukraine. A country that is an example of democratic values and the understanding that everything in life is possible — if only there is persistence in achieving one’s goal.
The USA provides diplomatic support to Ukraine both at the bilateral level and at the level of international organizations, educational exchanges are functioning, and humanitarian aid is also provided.
Due to the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, military aid for Ukraine is extremely important today. In addition, in the USA, the Lend-Lease law is of decisive strategic importance for Ukraine’s victory over the Russian aggressor. Ukraine will receive as much aid as is needed for Victory. Due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the USA introduced strict financial and economic sanctions against Russia.
Your country is the personification of libertarianism, which inspires us to fight for our Independence and strengthens our faith in Victory over the Russian aggressor. Thank you to the American people for providing a friendly and reliable shoulder!
Happy Independence Day, America! Prosperity and development to the American people!
With best wishes, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in the city of Khmelnytskyi Mykola Skrypkovskyi.
