On June 23, 1990, the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic adopted the Declaration on the Sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova. According to this document, the Parliament of Moldova officially declared the Republic of Moldova a sovereign, independent and democratic state.
Today, we can be proud of Moldova’s legal achievements and rejoice in its development as an independent country. Congratulations on the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on the Sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova!
