Moldova’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration has said that Moldova’s security depends on Western assistance to Ukraine.
In an interview with The Washington Post, the head of the Moldovan foreign ministry, Nicu Popescu, emphasised: “Continued Western support for Ukraine is vital to Moldova’s security. Any assistance provided to Ukraine – military, economic, financial, energy – is an investment in Moldova’s security, peace and stability”.
