New consignment of humanitarian aid from the Government of the Republic of Moldova

On May 27, 2022, Valeriu Civieri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine, attended the dispatch ceremony of one more consignment of humanitarian aid from the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

The seven trucks weighing 120 tonnes were escorted to Ukraine by Moldova’s Inspector General for Emergencies. The humanitarian aid consignment includes foodstuffs and other basic necessities.

At the same time, the ambassador had a working meeting with the head of the Chernivtsi regional military administration, Sergiy Osachuk, where he expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people and condemned the russian federation’s military aggression against Ukraine. Support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders was also reaffirmed. During the visit, several issues concerning interregional and cross-border cooperation in the context of war were discussed.
