International Day of Peace

Today is the International Day of Peace, and our country is being bombarded with rockets and people are being killed, that’s what a “Russian measure” is.

On this special day, when the world unites in one voice in the pursuit of harmony and peace, we pay tribute to this incomparable ideal, given the difficult situation in Ukraine, living every day in war and realising the importance of the concept of “Peace Day” for every Ukrainian.

For Ukraine and its proud people, the concept of peace has a special meaning. First of all, it is a reminder of the past, when our country managed to celebrate its independence and sovereignty, but now we are once again on the path of struggle for independence, victory and peace in our country.

We have always believed in the power of diplomacy, cooperation and joint efforts. Peaceful resolution of conflicts is always more important than any war. Today, we remember those who suffered in the war and celebrate our hope for a better future for all Ukrainians.

May this Day of Peace remind us of our dreams and aspirations for a brighter future, where war will be only in the history books and peace will reign in the hearts of every Ukrainian.

Victory and peace to our Ukraine!

Sincerely, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Khmelnytskyi, Mykola Skrypkovskyi
