Trinity, or, according to Ukrainian folk tradition, Green Sunday, is not only the joy of summer coming and the rising sun, but also the glorification of the higher forces which protect and inspire new achievements. Today, when Ukraine is going through a terrible ordeal because of the war, it is very important to remain open to peace and sensitive to our neighbors, to believe in the triumph of truth and the victory of kindness. These Christian virtues unite our society.
On Holy Trinity Day we seek spiritual renewal, fill our hearts with faith, hope and love, because we remember a simple truth: people, no matter how different they may be, are always able to understand and support one another. In these dramatic times in our nation’s history we face the important goal of preserving unity. And this can happen, in particular, thanks to joint prayers for victory and peace.
I am sure that we are invincible together, and we will overcome all hardships jointly and build a free, rich and prosperous country.
I wish happiness, harmony and love to every family. With faith in God. With faith in victory. With faith in peace in Ukraine!
