The professional holiday of the National Police is celebrated annually on July 4, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated April 4, 2018. The date of the celebration is timed to the event of 2015, when the first patrol police officers took the first oath on Sofia Square in Kyiv.
The profession of a law enforcement officer is not easy and very necessary, because police officers are called to protect life and health, rights and freedoms of citizens, the interests of the state and society from illegal encroachments, to protect law and order and the safety of people.
I sincerely congratulate the employees of the National Police on their professional holiday! I wish you health and happiness, success in work, inexhaustible spiritual strength, well-being in homes, new achievements in the fight against crime, public safety and order in Khmelnytskyi and Ukraine!
